Most design projects begin with creating several furniture layouts, and selecting the one that best suits the client’s desired use of the space. This plan is the blueprint for choosing the ideal size of furniture pieces and area rugs. It is also the basis for creating the electrical plan.
The electrical plan is developed to specifically enhance the furniture layout selection. Karen designates the location of wall outlets, floor outlets, sconces, chandeliers, in and under cabinet lighting, and art lights. This particular plan ensures not only functional and artistic lighting schemes, but allows for the wiring to be complete before the drywall is installed, eliminating costly post construction changes.
